Speed up your PC for FREE

If you are running Vista or Windows 7, then I have a simple little trick to speed up your pc using either a USB Flash Drive or an SD Card.

First, make sure that you have copied all of the files from the usb flash drive or sd card and erase it. After plugging in your portable media device, go to My Computer and locate the removable media. Then you will Right-Click on the removable media and choose Properties from the drop down menu. Once the properties window is open, you will see a tab labeled ReadyBoost, click it. Now, you can choose to use the entire capacity of this media as extra memory which allows your computer to work faster. Once you have dedicated this device to be used for ReadyBoost, you will not be able to write any files to it, until you stop using ReadyBoost.
