Last week, social media icon
Kevin Rose released a tweet on
Twitter hinting of a new social media platform known as "Google Me". Soon after, he was asked to take down the tweet by an unknown person. Although we do not know when to expect it's release. This will be interesting to watch since Google has been so successful at almost all other products that it has launched. I think that Google will have great success, but only if they can perfect the privacy issues that have recently plagued Facebook and
Mark Zuckerburg.
Lets not forget the little blunder that Google had with privacy when they released
Google Buzz and allowed people you follow to see all of your personal info. This was a huge blow to the release of Buzz and many tech bloggers and podcasters hammered them for doing so. I look forward to the release of Google Me and will sing-up the minute that it is released.
