#1 HTML Editor- Kompozer
If you are looking for a great FREE HTML editor, check out Kompozer. I have been using this for several months and I love it! It takes just a few minutes to get up and running and build a clean and useful web page. I will also let you in on a little secret, if you have a Dropbox account and save the html file to your public folder, you can get the external link and it will host the page for you. Keep in mind the URL won't be pretty but there are ways to mask it if it really bothers you.
